Saturday was a big day for the Virginia Tech football team as it was the first spring game under new coach James Franklin. Fans were in the stands. Everyone was excited. They even sent two skydivers over the stadium as a fun pre-game spectacle. Everything was going as planned… until one of the skydivers crashed into the Jumbotron scoreboard -- and was stuck there dangling. Everything worked out in the end as the skydiver "was safely secured and is currently stable" following rescue efforts. The skydiver/Jumbotron crash caused the start of the spring game to be delayed for over an hour.
