Christmastide for the Kids during Deck the Hall Weekend at Drayton Hall will be Saturday, December 7th!
Take a look at how Christmas was celebrated at Drayton Hall with a full day of family friendly activities from 10:00AM until 3:00PM. Kids and parents will learn about past holiday traditions, the Twelve Days of Christmas, and history of holiday decorations at touch and tell activity carts. Children will make a fun craft to take home, and also have the opportunity to attend a reading of "A Visit from St. Nicholas" at 12:00PM and 1:30PM.
There will be house tours that focus on the Christmas traditions observed during the 18th and early 19th centuries, according to Charles Drayton's diaries.
This event will take place before the Deck the Hall Oyster Roast.
