For 17 years, behind the scenes, the South Carolina Aquarium has been rescuing, rehabilitating and returning sea turtles to the ocean. Now, with the grand opening of the Zucker Sea Turtle Recovery that work will continue, but where guests to the South Carolina Aquarium can see it, and the turtles, as part of your Aquarium admission.
Below are photos of Chum, one of the current patients, as well as a picture of one of the new treatment rooms where you'll be able to see turtles as they are examined.
