Daniel Kaluuya has a pretty impressive acting resume, but one of his biggest movies has to be "Get Out." When the thriller was released back in 2017, it was an instant hit even landing lead actor Daniel the Best Actor nomination at the Oscars and Golden Globes. However, despite him being the main actor in one of the biggest movies of the year, Daniel just revealed that he actually wasn't invited to the premiere. Daniel was recently on the Graham Norton show where he explained that he was in Atlanta filming "Black Panther" when "Get Out" was scheduled to have its premiere at Sundance Film Festival. This premiere of "Get Out" was such a big deal for him that he made sure to clear his entire schedule so he could attend the premiere. However, the invite never arrived and he ended up just spending the night in bed.
"On the Sundance world premiere, I was in Atlanta because I was shooting Black Panther.I was chilling, I cleared my schedule. I was like, 'I really wanna do it.' And then just didn't get the invite. I wasn't invited, so I was just in my bed – someone texted me, 'It's done really well.'"
When he was asked if he ever mentioned this to anyone or asked what happed, Daniel said,
"I don't ask questions. You don't wanna be in a place that you don't feel wanted."
Despite the big misunderstanding, Daniel ended up finding this funny as he attended a screening of the movie with the cast a few weeks later.
