A Free Disney+ Drive-In Festival Is Coming To Santa Monica!

One good thing that has come out of the pandemic is the return of drive-in movies. Well, from October 5-12, Disney is hosting a Drive-In Festival in Santa Monica. Starting today (9/28) at 10am PT, fans can register for complimentary tickets at www.disneyplus.com/drive-in! Keep in mind capacity is limited and reservations will be required to attend. One registration is required for each vehicle and there will be a maximum of four guests per vehicle. The screening of each movie will start off with a classic animated short, episode of "The Simpsons" or a sneak peek at an upcoming Disney+ Original. The event will be held at the Barker Hanger, 3021 Airport Ave. Suite 203 in Santa Monica. You can see the dates and the full list of movies below:

Tuesday, October 6 - “Tangled” 10th Anniversary Screening

Wednesday, October 7 - “Coco” Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month

Thursday, October 8 - “Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back” 40th Anniversary Screening

Friday, October 9 - “Hocus Pocus” Disney+ Halloween Night

Saturday, October 10 - “The Sound of Music Sing-A-Long” 55th Anniversary Screening

Sunday, October 11 - “Captain Marvel” Celebrating International Day of the Girl

Monday, October 12 - “Clouds” - World Premiere Screening (Invite Only)

The Disney+ Drive-In Festival will follow the safety guidelines in compliance with State and County requirements to protect all guests and staff:

  • Guests must remain in their vehicles for the duration of the program.
  • No sitting outside of the vehicle will be allowed.
  • Congregating of any type is prohibited.
  • Social distancing of at least 6 feet will be enforced at all times.
  • Face coverings must be worn when interacting with attendants, and when exiting vehicles to visit the restrooms.
