North Charleston PD begins "Operation S.W.A.T" to send water to the Bahamas

The North Charleston Police Department has started "Operation S.W.A.T" to send bottled water to the Bahamas after they were tragically hit by Hurricane Dorian.

"S.W.A.T" stands for Sending Water to Abaco and Treasure Cay. Their goal is to fill the NCPD SWAT Truck with cases of bottled water, and is asking the community to help them accomplish this goal!

Bottled water drop-off times and locations are below:

  • Wednesday, September 11th from 8:00AM - 7:00PM at Lowe's on 7555 Northwoods Boulevard, North Charleston
  • Thursday, September 12th from 8:00AM - 7:00PM at Sam's Club on 4900 Centre Pointe Drive, North Charleston
  • Wednesday + Thursday, September 11th and 12th from 9:00AM - 4:00PM at Armory Park on 5000 Lakawanna Boulevard, North Charleston
