Get Paid to Move and Live on a Greek Island

Have you ever had a dream of living on a Mediterranean Island? Not only can you make this dream come true, but you can be paid to do it.

The Los Angeles Times is reporting the Greek island of Antikythera with a population of 20, is looking for new residents to come live on its beautiful and historic shores. So much so the local diocese of the Greek Orthodox Church is sponsoring families to move to the island. Precedence is given to Greek citizens, but anyone can be chosen to be part of the program, that will be given some land, a house, and a monthly stipend of about $550 dollars a month for the first three years they live there.

However, Antikythera isn't an easy place to get to. The only way there is on a ferry, which has a scheduled that is always at the mercy of the weather.

Read the story in the Los Angeles Times.
