Levels have been rising over the past few years, so where is it you want to avoid if you're looking to get away from stress?
The financial website WalletHub.com says Louisiana is the state with the most stress. That's based on research that factors in 40 key indicators of stress including how many hours we work a week to how well we are sleeping.
Mississippi and Arkansas follow Louisiana in terms of stress while Minnesota is our less stressed state, with Utah having the second less stress.
South Carolina comes in as the 14th most stressed state of our 50. Our biggest stress comes from Health and Safety related stress, where the Palmetto State ranked 8th overall.
