The Most Influential Movie of All Time Is ...

What's the most influential movie of all time?    Researchers at the University of Turin in Italy studied 47,000 films to come up with their list.    Instead of ranking them on box office results and reviews, they used an algorithm which they say ranks the movies based on having the most cultural references made to it, and the most spin-offs.

The most recent move in the top 20 was made 41 years ago - "Star Wars" . . . and 13 of the films in the top 20 were released before 1950.

Here’s the top Five:

The Wizard of Oz (1939)

Star Wars (1977)

Psycho (1960)

King Kong (19330

2001: A Space Odyssey (1968)
