Remember to bring your red, white and blue to the beach tomorrow!
This 4th of July features the 9th annual “Salute to the Shore.” A pair of F16 jets will be joined by a fleet of vintage military aircraft to fly along the South Carolina coast in celebration of our nation's birthday. For the first time ever, the jets will do a loop of the Charleston Harbor and fly over Lake Murray as part of their route.
The flight starts just north of Myrtle Beach at 1. Look for the jets to fly along the Isle of Palms at 1:15, the Charleston Harbor a minute later, than to Folly Beach at 1:20 and Edisto Island at 1:24.
