It's the Ultimate For A Star Wars Fan

If you, or someone you know is a Star Wars fan, you can own a piece of the Death Star from the original Star Wars movie from 1977, now known as Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope.   The piece was recovered from a landfill by a former employee of George Lucas’s visual effect company, Industrial Light & Magic.    The gray prop is just under 24 inches long and almost 7 inches tall and comes with a custom display case.     It is being auctioned on eBay.   You can make a bid through Sunday night at 9 by clicking here.

The Huffington Post is reporting on this.    The current bid is $10,600.
