Are you making a resolution for the New Year?    According to a new Marist Poll, 44% of American's will make a New Year's resolution.   So what's the most popular resolution for 2018?

According to their survey of more than 1,000 American adults, 12% of people are resolving to be a better person in the New Year.   That, along with weight loss, were the most popular New Year’s resolutions for 2018.   Nine percent of those polls said either exercising more, eating healthier, or getting a better job would be their 2018 resolution.  Six percent of adults are resolving to quit the smoking, while another 6% hope to spend less and save more money.

Perhaps as importantly, the question of will we keep those resolutions?   In this same poll, among those who say they made a resolution for 2017, 68% claimed they kept at least part of their promise.   More men, 75%, compared with women, 62%, said they kept their New Year’s resolution last year.
