Now, There's An App For That

Has your son or daughter ever "forgot" to reply to one of your texts?

A father who got annoyed with his child ignoring him has created a mobile app that freezes his son’s phone until he responds to his message.      The app seizes the phone’s screen and sounds an alarm, forcing the child to respond to his/her parent if they want to have access to their phone again.   The app also notifies parents when their child has seen their message.  According to Good Housekeeping, Nick Herbert is the dad who created the app ReplyASAP to reach his son Ben.

ReplyASAP is free to download, but you have to pay for bundles, depending on how many people are on it.   It's currently only available for Android, but an iPhone app is in the works.

Find it in the Google Play store here.
