Zac Efron is ready to start a life with his new girlfriend, Vanessa Valladares.
“Zac’s loving his life in Australia,” an insider told Us Weekly. “He’s settled down and very happy with his girlfriend. It’s serious.”
According to the outlet, the Down to Earth With Zac Efron star has been living Down Under for years. “He’s living eight hours outside of Sydney. Nobody bothers him,” the source told the outlet. “He hangs out with the Hemsworths. He goes surfing. He’s coming a long way from partying in L.A.”
So who is Valladares? The 25-year-old is said to be an aspiring model who met the Disney heartthrob over the summer at her job at Byron Bay General Store. "Zac met Ness earlier in the summer," a source told PEOPLE at the time. "They started hanging out in July and recently took a ski trip together. You can tell that they are having fun. She spends a lot of time at this house."
It's also been reported that Valladares, who may have inspired Efron's decision to stay in Australia, has been living at the actor's residence in Belongil Beach.
Since sparking their romance, Efron has been seemingly been enjoying his new low-key lifestyle.
“Zac and Vanessa are really good for each other,” another source told Us Weekly once word of their relationship broke in September. “She has calmed him down a lot, and he’s not partying too much. Vanessa loves to be active. She and Zac have that in common.”
Although Efron has yet to speak publicly about his Valladares, one of his friends, Australian radio show host Kyle Sandilands, dished about how smitten the High School Musical alum is with his new flame.
“He’s in love with this girl, Vanessa,” he said during an October 2020 radio show. “They’re lovely. Beautiful couple. They do everything together. … They’re just really sweet. They seem really settled and nice.”
