Jackson Guthy, a 24-year-old singer and boyfriends to Lori Loughlin’s daughter Olivia Jade Giannulli, was booked for a misdemeanor driving under the influence earlier this month, according to a report from Us Weekly. Guthy was pulled over on September 7, cited for a misdemeanor, and then booked and released on the same day of his arrest.
Guthy and Gianulli have been an item since early 2019, however, it was reported that the pair briefly split amid Loughlin's legal trouble. The Fuller House star recently pleaded guilty to her involvement in the college admissions bribery scam. Though initially charged with of money laundering conspiracy, conspiracy to commit mail, conspiracy to commit federal programs bribery and wire fraud and honest services mail and wire fraud, Loughlin accepted a plea deal and will only spend two months in prison.
Loughlin's 21-year-old daughter, who allegedly willingly participated in the scam at her parents' behest, has kept a low profile since news of Loughlin's involvement in the scandal broke. Before her family became the face of the bribery scam, she was a burgeoning YouTube star and beauty influencer. “Throughout this ordeal, Olivia was distant from her former sorority sisters and certain people she was close to before the news broke,” a source explained to Us Weekly. “Her former friends were not sure if it was based on legal advice or the fact that she felt too embarrassed to face the situation to old friends. Now, Olivia has been more open to communicating with them and rekindling those friendships.”
Though Giannulli and Guthy didn't comment on their split at the time, another source told Us that their relationship works because “Olivia really loves him...he’s so chill and laid-back that she can’t help but be comfortable around him.”
Neither Guthy or Giannulli have commented publicly on Guthy's DUI.
