Erin Marie Moran Fleischmann, best know for playing Richie Cunningham's younger sister Joanie on the TV series "Happy Days" has died.
Her acting career began at age 6 on the show Daktari on TV, and she made her movie debut in the 1968 Debbie Reynolds film "How Sweet It Is." But it was at age 13 she won the role that we all got to know her in on Happy Days. And, she joined Scott Baio on the spin-off "Joanie Loves Chachi," which lasted just one season.
Moran was married twice, and in the late 80s admitted to suffering from depression. Over the past few years tabloid stories were not kind to Moran, reporting she was kicked out of her Indiana trailer park over her partying.
Moran was found unresponsive in Corydon, Indiana and we pronounced dead on Saturday. She was 56.
