Where is South Carolina on the Best/Worst List for Singles

Just in time for Valentine's Day, the financial website WalletHub.com has ranked our 50 states and the District of Columbia on dating possibilities for singles.    According to their ratings, the best states for singles: 

         1.)    Washington

         2.)    Colorado

         3.)    California

Their list is based on a number of criteria including ranking each state by dating opportunities, dating economics and the state's romance and fun possibilities.    The worst state for singles is Mississippi.

How did  the Palmetto state do?    South Carolina ranks 44 overall.     We were listed as 44th in dating opportunities, 25th in dating economics and 29th in romance and fun.   South Carolina was just ahead of New Mexico and right behind Tennessee.     

North Carolina ranked 26, while Georgia ranked is 33rd, while Ohio is 30th.
