    1.)   This is the 100th anniversary of President Woodrow Wilson officially naming Mother's Day a U.S. holiday.
    2,)   Mother's Day was originally started in the 1850s by a woman named Ann Jarvis to brnig mothers together to rally behind causes like fighting disease, mourning soldiers, and promoting peace.
    3.)   Mother’s Day is the third-largest card-sending holiday in the United States, with 133 million cards exchanged annually.
    4.)   Mother’s Day is the second most popular holiday for gift-giving, following Christmas.
    5.)   For Mother’s Day, 1 in 4 moms say they want a trip to the spa (just 1 in 20 want jewelry, breakfast in bed, or flowers).
