1.)     If you like Italian, you can buy a little slice of Italy.    The town of Borgata Calsazio, near Turin, has been on sale on eBay.    However, the auction for this entire alpine village ended without a buyer.    The National Union of Mountain Communities, which is assisting the town’s few remaining inhabitants in the sale, says that any buyer would have to restore the stone and wood homes under a master plan provided by the organization.    The “Buy It Now” price on eBay is $333,057.

2.)     Denny’s is putting a different spin on its menu with a new partnership.    The restaurant chain has introduced its “Greatest Hits Remixed” menu by teaming up with Atari, turning some of its menu items into classic video games.   You can now download and play on your iPhone or smart device to play Hashteroids, where your mission aboard the SS Denny’s Condiment Transport ship is to deliver 40 tons of condiments to the 4th planet in sector 7d.   There’s also Centipup, from the classic Centipede and Take-Out, based on the game Break-Out.

3.)     The Dunphy house has been sold, but we don’t know if Phil Dunphy got the commission.     The house used for exterior shots on the hit ABC-TV comedy “Modern Family” has been purchased for $2.15 million, just under the $2.35 million asking price.   The 2,792 square foot home located on the west side of Los Angeles has four bedrooms, four and a half baths.    20th Century Fox pays a fee each time exterior scenes are shot at the house, and will likely renew their current arrangement with the home's new owners.
