1.)     Baseball season begins this weekend in the lowcountry, and, because of the winter storm, some extra games will be played in our area.   The College of Charleston was set to open their season with a 3 game series in Chapel Hill, against # 12 North Carolina.   Those games are still being played, but because of the weather conditions in North Carolina, that weekend series will be played at Patriot’s Point beginning tomorrow afternoon at 2.    Meanwhile, the Citadel’s season opening Homewood Suites Tournament, featuring Virginia Tech, West Virginia and Louisville begins this afternoon.   The Cardinals and Mountaineers play in game one at noon today, while the Bulldogs play Virginia Tech in the late afternoon game today, with all the tournament action being played at Joe Riley Stadium.

2.)     It’s Valentine’s Day and you’re still looking for a gift for your man, a guy who would rather spend his weekends outdoors— climbing, skiing, hiking, backpacking, canoeing — than at the newest club, the way he smells probably isn't top of mind.     But, at some point he’s got to get clean.    So give him something made from simple, natural ingredients that won't dry out his skin — something like Sasquatch Soap.     Step into the Shower, Escape to Nature.     Choose between pine tar, gold moss scrub, cedar citrus, cool fresh aloe, and more, each handmade to suit the guy you love.     http://sasquatchsoap.com/

3.)     If you’ve already filed your taxes and you’re wondering about the status of your tax return, and your income tax refund, there’s an app for that.     The IRS2Go is now in version 4.0 for both iPhone and Android.    The app updates refund status daily and can also direct you to free tax assistance programs in your area.
